Taylor Swift is Taylor Alison Swift. She was born 13 December 1989 in West Reading, Pennsylvania. Swift is a pop/country songwriter and singer for over 20 years. Her tales about romantic love in the midst of heartbreak and young love are gaining her acclaim during the 21st Century. Swift began to show an interest in the music industry from a very young age. Swift's career grew rapidly from children's play roles and her first public appearance in crowds of people. The moment Swift performed The Star-Spangled Banner in front of the Philadelphia 76ers at a game at age 11. She was already creating songs. In the following year, she began playing guitar. Swift, who took her inspirations from Shania Twain's music as well as The Dixie Chicks now known as The Chicks in the world of country music, composed the songs of her own to convey the feeling of being alienated. Swift's parents moved her to Tennessee at the age of 13 after selling their Pennsylvania farm. It gave Swift to devote more time trying to find labels that would promote the country genre in Nashville.
